Albuquerque Business First: New Mexico’s startups have opportunities to grow in 2025

Drew Tulchin, president of the New Mexico Angels investor group, believes 2025 will be an even better year than 2024.
“Nationally, the amount of money hasn’t gone down. It’s simply deal flow has gone down, except for the hot sectors,” Tulchin said. “The benefit of being in a smaller market like New Mexico is that we’re a little buffered from the trends that the denser markets have a tendency to be susceptible to.”
The New Mexico startup and high-growth company ecosystem will continue to do better and better, according to Tulchin, as those involved leverage partnerships and break down silos.
