Esports startup Champria raises $1m

Esports technology startup Champria has announced a $1m pre-seed round including funds from the New Mexico Arrowhead Innovation Fund and a number of other angel investors. 

Founded in 2020, Champria focuses on a set of technologies to help players find teams and improve their skills. The company uses proprietary technology to connect esports players through recruitment, scrimmages, and team management.

According to the release, the funding round’s aim is to fuel Champria’s growth, expand into new game titles and increase its number of staff. The company also aims to strengthen its partnerships and work on more events.
