Santa Fe ‘death tech’ startup partners with Ohio funeral home to offer alternative to ashes

An Ohio funeral home is partnering with Parting Stone, a Santa Fe “death tech” startup offering an alternative to conventional cremation.

The announcement comes after Parting Stone raised $1.3 million to grow its network of funeral home partners and broaden consumer access, Business First reported. The Arrowhead Innovation Fund led the round with an undisclosed amount of money. Parting Stone said the round raised its total amount of financing to $1.9 million.
